Merci is a little design paradise in the Haut-Marais, the happening slice of Paris between medieval Marais and the Place de la République. It's a magical place where people can shop for the best of fashion and design while enjoying Parisian hospitality in one of the store’s cosy catering facilities. To say thanks to all their creative talents, Merci offers a platform for young designers, and to say thanks to life itself, part of the company’s profits go to an endowment fund to finance education and development projects in Madagascar.
Today, there’s nothing that Merci loves more than to conjure a multitude of tapas and small dishes and share them with family and friends. In answer to this new way of life and to meet these new needs, Merci has created a whole range of dishes, inspired by the famous ‘American Modern Dinnerware’ by Russel Wright and by the traditional Japanese ‘bento’. The collection is made of sandstone and maple wood, in four different colours, and designed as a puzzle of twelve elements that can be stacked or fitted together at wish.
